Hello Kinney, I seem to remember a cpt code for a speech-language evaluation session in which I do not finish testing, and a different code for the day I do finish testing. Do you know what the codes are for speech-language testing?

Also, you can refer to that as well so that the therapists know where to read that information.


If a therapist is reporting multiple sessions of evaluations, they submit mode of “evaluation in progress” with the CPT Code that they choose. They can complete that for as many sessions as it takes for them to see the child for the evaluation. Then, when the evaluation is completed, they choose Mode of “evaluation completed” to alert Ksystems that the Evaluation has been completed.
