You are correct, an electronic order cannot be edited. You could create a new one however, services would only be billable from the date you create the new order forward. At the time you entered the original order the code was valid so it is not required that you enter a new order.

You can update the ICD code for the child in whichever data entry screen you are using the next time you go to report services. You only need to do this once, not every time you submit services for the child this school year. If you are using the Service Reporting Calendar the ICD box is at the very top of the page after you choose the child's name. You will enter the code without the decimal point and when the worded description appears below the box you will select it. For example, if you code is F80.8 you will enter it as F808 and then use your mouse to select the code. If you are using the Schedule page to report services there is also an ICD 10 code field next to each child. Again, you only have to do this once for each child so the next time you report services you can enter it.
